On July 7, 2024, Director T. Galardi assumed command of the Los Angeles Communications Center (LACC), the largest Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in the State of California and third largest in the country with sworn and civilian employees.  LACC dispatchers answer more than 1.3 million 9-1-1 calls per year and over 2.7 million calls in total.  

Director Tony served as the Deputy Chief of Los Angeles Police department prior to retiring and taking over LACC. 


Education:


Director Tony earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Transportation and Logistics in 1999 from California State University and a master’s degree in Security Studies in 2019 from the Naval Postgraduate School.
